This is the third of the four coins I purchased from the same dealer a few weeks ago. Geta Denarius, RIC IV 38b, struck at Rome, 205 AD  OBV: GETA CAES PONT COS, draped bust right REV: VOTA PVBLICA, Geta standing left, sacrificing out of patera over tripod & holding roll 3.18g, 18mm Edited by Bing 11/10/2012 8:30 pm

It has eye appeal... and it almost looks like it is made out of stone with that very matte finish on the metal ^^ I like it :)

I'm not certain I would call this a "spree". All of the coins I've shown in the last couple of days I purchased at what I would call deeply discounted prices.  I have a couple more to show when I have some time.
