are vinyl coin holders safe to use? I was looking at things to safely put my coins in and I was going to get Air-Tite holders in bulk, but then I saw vinyl coin holders. I know I have some coins that I got from my grandparents when they died that are in vinyl coin holders but are they safe for putting coins in?

The old soft-plastic coin flips contain PVC which will damage your coins. They should be taken out of these and put into new, modern holders. Saflips (which are plastic flips) are PVC-free and safe. I would recommend Air-tites over them, though, for long-term storage.
