Problem With Api.viglink.com - Coin Community Forum

harrison2 Pillar of the Community Mexico 1304 Posts	Posted 02/28/2013 10:40 am Whenever I hover over a link, it shows up in the browser window with the actual address, even if it is truncated with "..." to shorten it for display purposes. This site is blocked since it is listed as: Quote: The page you are trying to browse to is categorized as "Malicious" I can just copy and paste the displayed text, but when truncated with "..." this is not possible. In this case I have only noticed the issue in the past week or so. Maybe due to a change in policy or threat levels. Thanks for taking the time to address my lonely issue! Chances are they're subscribing to a list, rather than going to the effort of generating their own blacklist. And the people who generate those lists don't want the individual effort either; they apply heuristic methods to vetting sites. There are a whole bunch of opportunities for something to go wrong, and a reputable site becomes "broken" as a result. Somewhere, one line of changed code caused a completely unexpected cascade.
