This is my first post on this forum, so once again hello everyone:) Can you tell me please, is this coin is original (genuine)? Weight is about 27g, diameter 38mm. No reaction for magnet. There are many thousands of high quality counterfeits in the world. Your coin looks like a dipped (chemically cleaned) piece in AU (About Uncirculated) condition. I don't know that your coin is dipped or not, but it is certainly an AU coin. Minimum retail value on an AU is 160.00. I see nothing that screams fake to me either. Assuming it's genuine and grades as a problem-free AU50 then you have a 100 USD coin (wholesale) and maybe 160 USD retail as smokeriderdon noted. It's not worth the cost of certification. thusdayclub Valued Member Poland 263 Posts	Posted 03/16/2013 10:10 pm Hello again. What do you think about the thickness of a dollar? It is slightly thicker than morgan, unfortunately the internet are conflicting information about the thickness of two coins. Some sources give 3.1mm, other 2.1mm. Dollar on the left is peace 1921 and morgan 1921s right. Morgan on the dipstick is about 2mm thick, a little peace as seen below 3mm. Does anyone of you have the same coins and could do a similar comparison? Also on the Polish forum guy said the coin edge (peace 1921) is "bevelled" (do not know if it's a good word).
