Hello. I'm from Poland, so sorry for my english. This is my first post on this forum, so once again hello everyone:) Can you tell me please, is this coin is original (genuine)? Weight is about 27g, diameter 38mm. No reaction for magnet. Can you also grade this coin? Thx you for all responses and once again sorry for my english:)

Your coin appears to be genuine. It is not possible to verify the authenticity of a coin from images alone though. There are many thousands of high quality counterfeits in the world.

Your coin looks like a dipped (chemically cleaned) piece in AU (About Uncirculated) condition. As such it would be valued around 100 USD.

Actually, 100 bucks is the value on a low grade Good. I don't know that your coin is dipped or not, but it is certainly an AU coin. Minimum retail value on an AU is 160.00. I see nothing that screams fake to me either.

Regardless, you have a very nice key coin in the series. Something not everyone can say.

Thx you all for answers:) I'm glad, that you think my coin is genuine. I saw on ebay prices of this dollar - AU50 from 80 to 120$, AU53 about 150$, so I hope this is AU53:) I took one more picture in another light.

I don't see anything suspicious. Details are probably AU maybe a little better but it may be cleaned. Hard to say from the pictures.

Do you think it makes sense to send this coin to grading? I'm from Poland, so maybe it cost me a lot of money...

I wouldn't. Assuming it's genuine and grades as a problem-free AU50 then you have a 100 USD coin (wholesale) and maybe 160 USD retail as smokeriderdon noted.

It's not worth the cost of certification. I would keep it in an Air-Tite or Kointain holder as you show in one of your pics.

The coin lies in the capsule (as in the picture). I hope that there will be nothing wrong with it:)

Hard to tell from pictures but if not cleaned, it is worth far more than $100.

Yeah, shipping and all that from Poland may be a bit pricey to send it to ANACS. Not sure if there are any European grading companies. Regardless, it is a lovely coin and the capsule you have it in will protect it wonderfully.

I'd wager it has been cleaned. But still a desirable details coin.

Hello again. What do you think about the thickness of a dollar? It is slightly thicker than morgan, unfortunately the internet are conflicting information about the thickness of two coins. Some sources give 3.1mm, other 2.1mm. Dollar on the left is peace 1921 and morgan 1921s right. Morgan on the dipstick is about 2mm thick, a little peace as seen below 3mm. Does anyone of you have the same coins and could do a similar comparison? Also on the Polish forum guy said the coin edge (peace 1921) is "bevelled" (do not know if it's a good word). I have a bad feeling about this ...

No reason to feel bad. Thicknesses can vary a bit, especially between a Morgan dollar and the high relief 21 Peace dollar.
