In the past I did place some pictures of plantation tokens van The Netherlands East Indies (mainly Sumatra) and British borneo allready.
In Ceylon they also used tokens at the plantations and frams mills.

complete set of tokens from St. Sebastian Mills / Ceylon Company Limited.
The tokens were made aroud 1866, and the y made three denominations:
2 1/4 pence (A), 4 1/2 pence (B) and 9 pence (C):

Fun things! I guess the Ceylon planters had a bit better idea of elephant anatomy than the makers of the Elephant Tokens we're all more familiar with.

Hello ishfar,

I just showed some pictures from my collection. So not to be sold.
I think a complete set of this tokens will do about € 100,- at this moment.

Hello Siraonline,

Yes I think I might have some tokens you still can use the pictures. But I'm not sure or I like to participate. Because I don't like the manner how you show the pictures of the coins with the big 'Ceylon tokens' on it.
Maybe you can find an other way to do that... because in my opinion it is not very enjoyable to look at the pictures now...
