Hi there.I came across these 3 Greek interesting coins and the last one I can not ID.I would like some help with ID and some opinion will be great.First coin very interesting has become almost like stone, look and sense of touch is the same.Common or Rare appearance.Thaks in advance Regards
First and second Ae is Philip II of Macedon (very nice) Head of Apollo and reverse is 'naked youth on horse'. Third is Alexander III (the great) Head of Herakles reverse shows bow and club. Forth is a postumus Constantine I believe with viel covering head of deceased Emperor. A very nice start for a collection of smaller sized bronze issues of 'Famous' people !
Those Philip rider type AE's seem to be becoming more common lately. I've found them in decent quantities in three of my larger lots I've picked up since January. I need to get selling again now I'm well again.
