I just ordered from the mint a Proof 2007 Silver Eagle for my first Grandchild, born Monday morning. Welcome to the world little Anna! I also purchased the last coin I needed to complete my 7070 today (Not including the gold page) - a no motto Seated Liberty dollar. Now I have to crack out of their slabs around 15 old type coins and place them all in the album. Any suggestions on how to do this are welcome. I'll post pictures of the completed album when I get it done. Final milestone will be next month when I turn 60. Life is good and I am thankful for this forum and all the help you have provided.

Congrats on all fronts! Wow new granchild and a completed 7070. Sounds like cigars all around.

In regards to cracking out the coins I recommend a dremmel tool.

Thought about using a vice once but was worried I couldn't catch the coin in time once it popped out

I like to spoiled my grand kids till they are so rotten they stink lol. the kids don't like it but hey they are in LA and I am in Tucson so I only get to see them when one of us get a wild hair. grand kids are the best.
best part is when you get tired and they are still hyped up on all that sugar you gave them. lol they always go home lol

Gary is right.

We have six grandkids, and they are great.

Ages five to 11.

Kids and Grandkids. That's what it's all about.

You folks are sure all right by me, even if you are coin collectors. Thanks to all who replied.
