To Grade Or Not To Grade - Coin Community Forum

What I would like to know from you is should I get them graded or not? Yes, I should post pictures but for now, you will have to take my word on what I have. 1) 1954 Beattie Raminsky $1 with mis-matched serial #'s in AU/UNC condition 2) 2 Consecutive $1 1954 Devil's Hair, actually have a 3rd but it has some slight damage in UNC condition 3) 1870 25 cent with "A" in VG condition 4) 1919 $10 LaBanque Provinciale du Canada in F+ but has frayed corner with small piece missing 5) $2 Devils Hair in AU 6) 1935 $1 French in better than VF condition Would you have any reservations in getting any of these graded? Colhand1 Pillar of the Community United States 633 Posts	Posted 07/17/2013 5:40 pm I am cheap. I take the notes to the show and save on the postage. Plus I hand them to them so I avoid having to send them to Canada where they could get lost or stolen. Honestly, I would prefer to spend the money that it will take to get them graded on more banknotes but this seals them and gives them a grade that I can live with. Plus they store better at the bank. But my question to you was - would you get these graded if you owned them? By the way the 1919 note has a yellow/orange reverse Report this Post to the Staff
