1823 patched 3? Definitely not. I think it's a 106a. I've seen another seller list this variety as "tampered 3".

You are correct. The 1823 patched 3 Capped Bust half dollar (Overton O-101a) displays a 3 that is leaned to the right. Overton O-106/106a 's 3 does not lean.
