I have two 1972 Ike dollars with this mark.

Has anyone else run across this? Or have a story behind these marks?

Please excuse the terrible lighting...

It almost looks like a corporate logo, but I don't know why it would be struck on an Ike dollar.

to CCF! A few things spring to mind:

1) Random countermark
2) A resonance arrow
3) jbuck behaving badly again

If you find out what the marks are, please update us!
