Not saying I tried to do this (and probably wouldn't do it on a substantial item) because I didn't. Just had some small auctions running for some small penny lots, and choose the "automatically relist 3 times if they don't sell" option. So where I couldn't give these things away 2 weeks ago, I now have bids on everything that ends tonight....go figure. Not talking a big deal or a lot of $ by any means, but it's just funny how things shake out sometimes. ed

That's about how I'd describe this one, aside the fact that there are more than a few people (myself included) who make a point of being involved in holiday-ending auctions. You were the beneficiary of people like that, I think.
