I have 3 or 4 CU ones that I saved from my trip to Australia in 2001. A gentleman at a local coin show told me there is a variety that is worth about $35 a piece. Is he right and what is the variation if he is right...if you don't mind me asking and if anyone knows.
Absolutely pristine shape, as if they came right from the RBA. Correction, though. I only have 2 left. Think I gave a couple away to friends. DK01077338 and BH01496907 are the serials.
they are not 1st or last series notes so my 45th edition (2009) of rennicks put the value at $35 aud each an ebay search however says you will get around $10-15 for them personally I would keep them if I was you. polymers aus notes don't sell like they use to but I think the market will return
No plans to sell them at all. Was curious more about what the guy mentioned. They are nice mementos of a wonderful trip "down under". I saved at least one of your denominations in pristine shape up to $50 when I was on the trip. The $50 is just an amazingly beautiful note, IMHO.
