I doubt it, however the seller claims that is what it is, and has even referred me to Google and, irishcoins.com

It doesn't look like one to me, I see all four chicks heads on this coin.

I didnt see any 1942 chickless variety personaly, but have a 1942 penny might be post damage or maybe chickless posted in omnicoin, seen few 1942 variety chickless in ebay in the past.

That is a good point NMUK I didnt noticed it,I just know that their is a incuse or sunken curve on that part, the result is the portion of the third chick or its head is not that visible unlike the normal one,good eye.
