Thinking of you and wishing that things would get back to normal, what ever that is. Take your time and do as the doctors tell you, and in no time you will be back into the swwing of things. Get well soon1

Thanks so much everyone. First treatment yesterday went fine - no nausea or anything. We took the kids to the amusement park last night and I had no problems at all. I hope this is a sign that chemo isn't going to be a big deal. I really appreciate all of the friends I have here. It's a great feeling to know that you all care so much.  |

Wasn't aware until tonight that anything was wrong. With today's modern medicine, and the care and prayers of family and friends, the outcome of illness most usually is positive.
In January I was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer, Chronic Leukemia, and Tempular Arteritis which caused temporary loss of sight in one eye. As of today I'm doing great, with no problems.
I'm sure you will be fine. Best wishes and we will be thinking of you.

Gary, that's a lot to go through and I'm so happy that you're well now. You are so right. Modern medicine is wonderful. While what I have to do now isn't pleasant, it's definitely doable and soon will just be a memory. |
