I know there are collectors, but I'm talking this thing is OBLITERATED. Take pictures later, but would it have any extra value?

From the sound of it, I would say you would be lucky to get 5 cents for it.

However, if this nickel is just very worn, and not damaged, I think it could carry a slight premium if you find the right person.

As long as it's problem-free, I think it would carry a premium of a few dollars. I'd pay that.

I think that this one doesn't qualify as a lowball because the reverse is completely gone.

That doesn't look like honest circulation wear. It kinda seems like someone filed/sanded it down. I don't think in this condition it's worth much more than face, unfortunately.
