Most of the Commemorative coins that I've seen seemed to all be rather expensive. Are there any commemorative coins that are only a few dollars to buy? Am I likely to find them at my local coin shop?
Most commemorative coins (post 1986) have bullion value in them (silver or gold) and that's why their cost are high (bullion value + intrinsic value/collecting value).
Some silver commemorative were selling for around $15. I just saw some being sell the other day. If you are still looking, let me know and I'll keep my head up for you.....
