New to this area, but curious about serial #'s etc. three examples below to see if worthwhile to keep. 2 digit bookends (76714576) $50.00 repeats (70358358) $20.00 question on this one: (45464772) $20.00 if the last two digits were 48 instead of 72 would that be anything worthwhile ?
Personally, I wouldn't pay a premium for any of the bills you've listed. The last bill, if indeed the serial number was 45464748 might be of interest to collectors, but not so interesting to offset wear and tear. It is my personal opinion in this market that "cool" serial numbers really make an uncirculated bill more appealing, but don't do much to make a worn bill more valuable. Truly rare serial numbers (such as very low numbers, sequences such as 12345678 or 98765432, repeaters such as 33333333, etc.) will add interest and value.
