I'm like at least 94% sure it's nickel.

There's nothing to debate unless you flunked 2nd grade spelling.

Time to start the armour or armor debate. Or the colour or color debate.. For me personally, it's nickel.

Quote: Time to start the armour or armor debate. Or the colour or color debate.. For me personally, it's nickel. The two aren't related - the first is a case of American spelling versus correct spelling, while "nickle" is just wrong in every country in the world.

Don't know why there is even a debate. Have never seen it spelled "nickle.

google says it's nick EL, autocorrect says it's nick EL and it is nick EL. that is how spelling works. out of curiosity, what is the point of this? all that will happen is a heated discussion resulting in a locked topic and nothing good.
Feel free to call me Will.

Occasionally, when I'm feeling bored, I'll do my bit to improve the standard of spelling on the forum. I once went through the entire forum and replaced "horde" with "hoard", where appropriate. But I haven't done "nickle" yet, largely because I wasn't 100% sure that it wasn't one of those American spelling variations I'd just never heard of before.
I'm sure, if folks think it warranted, that the admins could do an automagic search-and-replace of the entire forum. Which would, of course, make the title of this particular thread seem rather silly.
Don't say "infinitely" when you mean "very"; otherwise, you'll have no word left when you want to talk about something really infinite. - C. S. Lewis

I think I miss typed nickel as nickle once on my phone and it now corrects nickel to nickle. I know I can change this but I'm too lazy!

Ya'all may also say Nickal. Ain't sure, but could be, maybe. Remember that old Wrigley saying about the wrapper. Some call it a spear and some call it an arrow. Wrigley don't care as long as you buy it.
