Yes ,nothing about the pistol which I think is a COLT-45, ( not sure it's real ) . 1799 bust dollar and nothing about mint errors. Stand clear.

I'm not seeing high end coins.I'm seeing problematic coins $1200 at best.IMHO either he doesn't want to sell them or looking for that one sucker. Not sure if the gun is included or just a prop.He doesn't say so I'm not including it in my value.Never assume anything.Ask

I wouldn't dare proceed on this but I was wondering about the raw early dollar and if it looks real

I'd hate to leave that guy negative feedback. I'll be the dissenter here for a minute. I like the listing. The banner says you get the two 1799s. That's all that's really in play here imo. The NGC holder is well described. I checked out the NGC photos, and it's a fairly nice looking coin. Have to assume the raw coin is 'details' also. So all I have to do is figure out how much I'll pay for those two dollars. I'm not up to 3K, but maybe he'll get a bite.

The gun is like some kind of implied threat

Not sure about the coins, but the revolver is a very nicely done up Colt Dragoon-type chambered for .44 cal, black powder, Model 3, round trigger guard. It's a modern collectors piece, probably a Cimarron (Uberti), as the real thing has less than 50 remaining examples known to exist, most of which are in museums or private collections. It's got nice custom engraving & damaskeened cylinder, probably by Turnbull or Gouse.
Shooting them is .. interesting. You need a much larger powder load than you'd expect if you want to hit anything at all (they are mostly used for show, so the recommended factory powder load is extremely light.) Get them loaded up right, and they'll shoot as well as a modern revolver, but with a lot of noise, a lot of smoke, and a very large amount of recoil. You want to aim low and let the recoil carry the gun up to target and slightly above to account for ballistic projectile drop in flight. Fire one of these at an outdoors range and be prepared for 30 minutes of Q&A from other shooters.

The seller in the following listing says that the coin has "no problems" when it clearly has been harshly cleaned within an inch of its life. 321821478492
