Hi, I got this $5 bill a little while ago and held on to it because it was different. Any ideas if it is anything worth keeping?

Hey, I got a 2001 $5 a while ago, but I let it go. I do like finding the old green bills before the new colorized ones came out. The bill is still worth $5, but you could always keep it if you want to.

It looks like someone used chemicals on it. I saw a new $1 bill with a yellow back. It turned out it was bleached.

I would probably spend it. Nice non-kodachrome $5 find.

Keep till you get an upgrade. Non-colorized bills won't be around forever.

Thanks for all the replies! I've got better non-colorized bills, but this one stood out to me when I was just about to hand it to a customer at work. It's not in very good condition, but I still think it's kind of neat. Although not as cool as the 1950, and 1969 5's I also found.
