picked up a copy of the April 2016 edition of Coins today. There is an article on coin grading that I am going to find most helpful.
While most articles give you the general description of the different grades, this one has actual pictures. Not just 1 or 2. it shows 10 of the most popular US coins in conditions from AU down to G. As I am a visual person(learns better from watching not reading) this is VERY helpful. I can tell this is gonna be a well used magazine before I am done with it.

Had to let others know. Price on magazine here is $4.99, well worth it. Will help you feel a little more confident when buying circulated coins.

Sounds like a handy ready-reference. Don't forget that there are a few sites that post pic's on grades. Some are specific to a denomination and others go the full spectrum including older type coins.

Having a hard copy reference can help a lot, especially when dragging the computer along is not an option.
Rest in Peace

I enjoyed that whole issue. Some months seem to have more advertising than articles. This month really did have a lot of great educational information.

This magazine is just advertising with a few articles thrown in so that they can justify calling it a magazine. Everything in that article can be found in the ANA guide or at http://www.PCGS.com/photograde/ including all the pictures.
