About 20 years ago I acquired a number of silver dollars - 1 1963 & 3 1966 Voyager Silvers. I thought I had accurately determined that none of the 66's were small bead variety but now I am not so sure. Under closer examination & with a bit more idea of HOW to look, I think one of the three is different from the other two. I have pictures of two of the coins for comparison - tell me, please, what you think...

Pics are small.
Beads are large.
"Dipping" is not considered cleaning...

Thanks DBM, My pictures are considerably larger but the image optimizer is tricky for sizing... I will have to play with it more - first day here :) I was pretty sure all three were large bead but one 'I'just seemed to be far less 'between the denticles' than the other two. Needed a more seasoned eye to confirm that it was still a large bead. Still not a bad investment for a face value purchase.

Coincollectic, here's small/large bead comparison photos on this thread that might be helpful.

The wider space between each of the small beads is very distinct.
