I recently stumbled upon this coin while out detecting.

What would the value of this coin be, and does the number one die bare any significance in rarity ?

Excellent find.A rarer date.The die nrs were on 6d's between 1864-1879 to assist the Mint at the speed at which dies became too worn.
Now the bad news,the various die nrs very rarely bring a premium to a coin.The retail for a coin in UK F is approx £20.Being buried does not help eye appeal so about £15 with a dealer paying about 60% of this.
