Looks good to me. Worn to a VF level. Have you tried looking at other die pair for this date when comparing digit placement?

Yes I did . The main difference Is the 4 in the date placed wrong compared to other 1834's .

That's because dates were hand-punched and alignment was often a problem.
Someone with the definitive CBH book could specify the die variety (or will need the reverse to specify the die marriage).

I do CBQ's and the same situation occurs often AND is a die marker.

maybe when you're predisposed to thinking you're assessing a fake and your eyes pl;ay tricks. maybe the pics are too small here. I thought the bust itself was off compared to others but I do not have much exposure to the 25c issues.
