received these last week at work.

The two star notes came right out of a an ATM and look uncirculated. Unfortunately the rest were well circulated and not part of the series.

The following bill's serial numbers seem too high.

Defenitly looks like the serial numbers were misaligned a little, but the two start notes are pretty cool I've started looking at all my bills trying to find more star notes I've actually found quite a few but most are pretty beat up for circulation. You have some pretty nice finds there

If I'm reading things right, your two star notes are either from G(chicago) or L(San Fran). These are the only two star note listings I see for series 2003. They are worth ~$35 in choice unc.

Well I used not to know how to tell how what bank the new bills were from but those stars are from new york. The F is for the series and the B is for the district. B is new york. If it say B2 under the left handed serial number it is a new york note.

F = 2003A
B2 = New York

The misaligned overprinted is not enough to command a premium (unless you are selling on ebay, then it's a rare $5 bill that bill gates used to blow his nose with). For a true error, the serial number needs to be touching some design element that it's not intended to. Yours is close, but not quite there.

Sorry it took me awhile to get back to my own post. Here is the date and other info on the two star notes. If they're worth that much I'm more than willing to put them in the trading forum. (I mainly collect coins but if I come across this stuff at work then I snag'em ;)

2003A
Left Side: B2 G1
Right Side: fwG49 and fwG50
