Well, I have no access to the early RCM info, but suddenly saw 4 new coins in the Coins.4.Fun ebay shop. I will not list them, cause preferable it will do the person with full knowledge, but: **one of them - The Year of Rooster **and "renewed" Snowflake **and 2017 Nature's Adornments 1oz Silver coin - priced CAD 179.95? **and 2017 Under the Sea 1oz Silver coin - priced CAD 179.95? The scallop coins all have nice design, and Rooster isn't exception. Nature's Adornments - clear and simple, nothing more...

All four are 2017. Reminds me of an 18 month calendar.

Yes, for the reports probably. The 2017 has to be good for them, so it's easy "to increase" 2017 sales by minting in 2016 coins, dated as 2017.

There is also a "warriors of history" 5 coin set released today. But International coins are not for me.

Sad to say, the RCM usually brings the worst selection of international editions - and it understandable, the mint offers us the production, that probably couldn't be sold by minting mint. Well...the coins maybe not so bad, and for sure someone collects this, but imo, there is no effort of artwork here.

I say boycott any 1 ounce coin priced over $100. This ($179.95) is getting ludicrous.

Quote: This ($179.95) is getting ludicrous Sorry for confusion. I took the details from ebay listing. And the price is also set by seller. But since this seller usually have prices close to issue - so the 179.95 for standard 1oz coin looks strange.

If it's any consolation, the prices mentioned by the OP are likely 20% or so over the upcoming RCM release price. Even with that, however, the per coin price will likely be in the $139.95 to $149.95 range.

The ebay seller referenced above is now also listing a four-piece coin set with each $3.00 1/4-ounce silver coin representing one quarter of an image of a maple leaf. Not groundbreaking, but interesting. I've also seen on ebay the following new coins for September: - $20 silver DC Comics Trinity coin featuring Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman And the next coin in a couple of series/subscriptions: - Landscape Illusion - $20 silver Pronghorn Antelope - Majestic Animals - $20 silver Benevolent Bison

Not groundbreaking, but interesting. That ebay seller is asking for $239.95 for this. I'm sure his price is slightly higher than what issue will be, but still, for 1 oz of silver, that's a steep price. I wonder if it'll have a really low mintage and will get gobbled up by the upper MC?

I'm a platinum MC member, but I haven't received any advanced notice for Septembers release. What gives?

The reason that RCM neglects to publicly advise in advance a release date each month in order to generate anticipation is puzzling. Considering they don't, their commitment of "X days advance access" for MC members becomes difficult to determine. In my opinion only, it reflects extremely poorly on RCM when ebay sellers pre-sell RCM product especially at a markup in advance to RCM even releasing it to the public. It would be unthinkable, for any other business, to condone this type of insider activity.

Nothing from the rep but the catalogue arrived via snail mail. No sign of the promised wooden box yet even though there are only two days left in August. And oh yeah, the Mint's website has been changed. Yet to be seen if it has been improved. lol. (hint no. 1, click on your name to find your profile - that took a minute or two to figure out). BTW, $205 for four 11.85g slabs of silver? A new low IMO.

It must have been changed very recently. I was on the RCM website a couple hours ago. It seems a bit harder to navigate now. I'm still waiting for my advanced notice. Lol.

As a Platinum Plus member I have not received advance notice yet. How about other MC high tier members?
