AncientsRoman
Currently working on a "portrait collection" of Roman emperors. Good head/face details are a must, legends and reverse are a plus. Ideally looking for all silver:
Augustus through Geta - Denarius
Caracalla - Antoninianus
Macrinus through Balbinus - Denarius
Gordian III through Diocletian - Antoninianus
Tetrarchy and later - silver if possible, else bronze will do.
These are somewhat up for negotiation, especially the ultra-rare emperors. Also interested in wives, friends, family, and usurpers. Rarity does not matter, but would prefer a historically significant reverse.

Santa update!
Dear Santa, I have been very good this year! Your elves probably can't afford a ryo koban, so here are some ideas:
US coins- I have a shelved
LMC set, but don't have many of the 1959-1982 bronzes in BU. I also don't have many high grade D mint coins from after 2000
- I am missing 1939-D from my nickel set
- I am missing most half dollars after about 2010 when I stopped hunting
- I am interested in BU rolls of 2014 and 2015 cents to give to my daughters when they are old enough.
- I don't actively collect US classics, but appreciate the few I have. I could stand to upgrade my cull/corroded
Flying Eagle cent,
Shield nickel, and
V nickels, and I love 3 cent nickels. I also only have low grade/cleaned examples of Seated and
Barber coinage, and not much that's earlier than that.
- I Passively collect and enjoy older notes, mostly stuff worth at most a few dollars over face.
Canadian coins
- I was at one point working on a QEII cent set; I remember it started in about 1960 and tapered off in about 2006. Earlier and later coins would be cool.
- I have a few Canadian nickels, but nothing high grade.
- I love early bank tokens and other early coins; I have Nova Scotia and a few other early coins, but nothing to write home about.
- I don't intend to pursue a complete set, but I do keep the commemorative circulating coins I come across.
Coin languages
I don't actively pursue new purchases, but I am building a collection of different languages and scripts on coins. In particular and offhand I am seeking:
- Cherokee from the Sequoyah $1 coin (can't find a reasonable price online)
- Inuktitut from any of the Canadian Nunavut commemoratives
- Mongolian
- Georgian
- Armenian
Other areas of interest:
- I like early 20th century coins with beautiful artistic designs. France and Italy in particular! Neo-Classical is a favorite, with Art Deco a close second.
- I like obscure, ephemeral nations. Micronations in particular, and I have always meant to get around to buying a set of Transnistria.
- I love coins with odd features (denominations, shapes) or fun quirky history behind them. Not so interested in gimmicky NCLT, however.
- I had at one point started collecting coins from US Philippines, Soviet Union, UK, Panama, and Germany, but lost steam on all of those to varying degrees of completeness.
- I have almost no medieval European coins
- I love coins minted after the 1700s using primitive tech; e.g. hammered or cast.
I have almost no paper money in my collection, and am considering someday expanding my Japanese collection into paper. I already have a 5 sen from WWII, and a few lower grade notes with folds etc.
