What is the most money you have ever spent on a single coin, and the least money? Do not include coins pulled from circulation or found in bank rolls.

I really cannot recall, as many of my coins I bought a long time ago, and aren't worth that much money anway. The mylar holder of my American Eagle Dollar says $16 on it, so I'm going with that for my most expensive coin. I do own 1/20 oz Gold Panda but that doesn't count as it was a gift.

My least expensive would be a 1972-S Lincoln Cent that I bought probably for less than $0.10. I needed it to fill a hole in my folder.

Most would be my UNC 1883 WC Liberty Head Nickel at $175. Its raw, graded by the dealer as MS-64 but I'm leaning more towards 62--63 would be pushing it. Beautiful coin, Full details in the stars and hair. The lower left ear-of-corn isn't perfect, but a line or two does show. It also has a very faint almost golden tone to it--very attractive piece if I do say so myself :)

Most: $2300 for both: a 1926 MS-63 Indian $2.50 gold piece and a 1927 MS-63 Indian $2.50 gold piece. A little high, but still wondering if should fill out the short set....

Least amount....my dad gave me a steel penny and some wheat cents.

Least: A handful of BU Red Lincoln Memorial cents that probably averaged $0.10 each. My dealer cut me a break since I did the work of cherry picking through his cent roles. If he does the work of cherry picking, putting them in the flips and on display then the price goes up. Works for me :)

Most was $150 each for a Type I gold dollar and a $5 1886-S gold piece. My dad got those for me almost 10 years ago, thats for US coins. I still remember my mom getting mad for those purchases, well since then it appreciated okay.

Most I spent on recently and ever for a coin was $140 for a gold half sovereign.
