It's a Small Bead Variety.
There were no Proof coins in 1965 but it might be a PL.
Maybe one of our Nickel experts can shed more light.

I have been looking for the large bead now for about 10 years, and have yet to find one. I have noticed that the beads are not uniform, I have seen them shift left or right about 2~3 mm which is weird.

Ace you would think they would be consistent if it's a variety that depends on the location of the beads. Weird indeed!

LB has 138 beads vs 119 on the small beads - if you don't mind gong blind counting them.

Wow rockfish I'm pretty sure I would lose count around 75 which would be about the same time my vision would go black lol.
