eaglefoot Pillar of the Community United States 6326 Posts	Posted 04/21/2008 10:26 am I saw it last night while channel flippin'........they want $400.00 for the proof set.......!........50 quarters for $400.00.......of course they already sold 150 of these rare sets at the time I tuned in.......then GONE FOREVER!.......folks.....when these are gone.......THEY ARE GONE !....ha aaaahh ha ha !...LOL I'd pay $60-$70.00 for em.......no more... The "lawsuit deservin' scam artists" are in FULL DISPLAY again, .....of course.... with the "end" of the State Quarter program here.....they're going to be pushing this stuff at even MORE OBSCENE prices for quite awhile now.........watch and see........a couple years from now.......they will have "discovered" 600 "more" sets of these "proof quarters" and at THAT time they will sell them for $850.00 per set for an unbelievable once in a lifetime deal that will make such GREAT presents for your kids or grandkids........ AND IMAGINE THE NEXT COUPLE OF CHRISTMAS HOLLIDAYS !....OMG !...... Can we start a class action lawsuit.......or sign some "internet driven petitions" or something ?.........CAN THESE PEOPLE NOT BE STOPPED ?........... Once they where selling a bunch of silver nickles and steel pennies calling them a special War set at like 1000 times marked up. And wife was oohing and ahhing. I laughed and changed the channel.
