OK, I know this isn't a proper "penny" and should be referred to as a "cent." Now that's out of the way, look at my new penny!  I'll post these pix to the grading forum as well as this one if that's ok. Price? Don't even ask.  |

jhs, I just looked at the coin in your link and the coin posted by stephen420. I'm counting 7-8 in both images. You're talking about between the end of the pole (holding the Liberty cap) b/w 4 and 5 o'clock and the "4" in 1794, right?

Update: After consulting with my local coin dealer, and his copy of Breen's LC encyclopedia, I have determined that the variety attribution for this coin is: Breen 13, Sheldon 31.

I'm going to have to have that !........that's a beautiful thing there ! It'll be my birthday later this year and so I'll get you my mailing address.......send it right over please!
