Hello,I have been looking up which varieties of this 1953 set of coins are rare or not common. The many different varieties of each coin is making it difficult.I have a handle on the SF, NSF varieties but am confused as to what other varieties to look for? Any information you could provide about these coins would be appreciated. Thanks

I tried to identify the variety of the five cent by comparing it to this other 1953 five cent. I am puzzled by the near and far leaf. Thanks in advance for any info. Everyone has been very helpful in identifying the coins I have recently acquired.

That 1953 5 cent is the SF Near Leaf.
I find the easiest way to tell is by the
tail of the nine on the reverse.

Thank you, that helps me to identify the variety of the near and far leaf. Looking it up I came across a missing chrome variety. Does the second 1953 five cent coin appear to be missing chrome. The coin is not very appealing to the eye but from my online reading it could be a type people look for?

Hard to tell from the lighting, but the 1953 dollar may be a SWL variety.
