I found this 1988 D LMC while roll searching and while you cant see a full extra motto it looks like the upper part of one. Eyes may be playing tricks on me.

I don't see it. Looks like it's a normal coin struck with a very worn die (Very Late Die State).

Yep E&V, my old eyes were playing tricks on me! It just looked like the start on an N between N AND G and the start of a G between G and O.

That's okay Jim. It happens to everyone. It evens happens to me sometimes. The stretching of the letters in the motto probably confused you.
