A. What mints are these coins from?

B. Melt value is lower than $17. There are .7734 ounces of fine silver per dollar, putting melt value at about $13 and change.

I usually try to by morgans and peace for melt value at no more than $14 each. $17 is quite high since right now, as I type this, silve spot is $17.38.

Hmm.. Since cleaning can bring the value I'd say with some of the cleaner ones you got a good deal. With the dirtier ones I'm not so sure..

I agree with mmerc20 that $17 is a little high.

Phil, cleaning brings the value down. Give me a nice original crusty one any day of the week over something as hideous as that '83 in the bottom row.

Did you get a great deal? I would say no. Did you get a bad deal? I would say no.

I think you are in that ok range. I try to get mind in that 13-15 dollar range as well, but I don't get many at that price.
