Sorry, this is not a radar. A radar reads the same forward and backward.

It's basically just a statistical curiosity, with 3 different numbers paired in such a fashion. Imagine how may such combinations you could create drawing from all 10 digits in various pairs using just 3 different digits at a time. Especially in circulated condition this is just a spender.

Others may feel differently.

It is just really close to a keeper.

Either 82848284 or 82844828 would have been keepers.

The first number is called a 4 digit repeater, 8284 repeats itself.
The second number is a radar, reads the same forward and backward.
Change is inevitable except from a vending machine.
