One more question ... I have a Mercury Silver Dime from 1942 and, ... it ssems to me that this could be a 1942/1, if you carefully look under magnification, at the top, and at the base of the number 2, in 1942 ... (SEE THE PICTURE) ...

Please, let me know what is your professional opinion, ok?

If this is a Philly coin (no mintmark), the 1 should be much stronger.

Could be a 1942/1-D , need reverse photo of mint mark area .

Always post pictures of both sides of coins even if you don't think it necessary.
In this case the MM could eliminate whether there is a possibility
of it being a 1942 over 1 or not.
