Hi!
I just got this piece of eight. It looks like real to me, having some clear clues that it is a struck coin. Still, there are some small lumps on one side that I do not understand.
Does anyone have any idea or a different opinion about authenticity?

Whenever I see "strange marks" or "lumps" on a coin, and there are two of them on opposite sides of the coin (or one mark, in the exact centre of the coin), the general assumption I would make is that they are "mount marks": at one point, someone turned this coin into a piece of jewellery - perhaps a brooch-style pin.
