Hi everyone,

First post so bear with me. I was told on the welcome forum to start posting things that interested me from my grandfathers coin collection and since this is one of the older bills he had I thought it would be a good idea to start this one. So I am more or less just looking for information on the grading of this bill, or really just any information on it at all. Thanks!

Posted a few more pictures of other bills in this envelope, let me know if you see anything interesting.

That's one of my favorite notes.

This website, if you don't know about it already, has lots of info on both coins and notes:

I'm not the best with grading (Very Fine?), but I'm sure others will chime in.

Would love to see some other bills from your grandfathers collection!

Always difficult to grade paper money from pics, but this looks mid-VF to me. Four hard folds plus corner bends. VF-30?

to the CCF!

Hi Dustin your 1912 is a nice note. It should grade VF25-30 because of the folds. Its ball park value is around 2k. The chartered bank notes I dont know much because I dont collect them.Nice notes

The 1912 $5 is a great note! I hope to own one one day. You can look at ebay sold listings to get an idea of what various notes sell for in various conditions.
