I live in Tacoma, Washington, USA but have been all over the world (Occupation Truck driver, and spent 11 years in the US Navy). My Dad is a lifetime AVA member and collects Transit tokens, as such during a bulk buy he came across an interesting Coin/Token/medallion that is outside his wheelhouse and is asking me for help because after exhausting all his contacts he has been unable to figure out what it is, and I love to LEARN about things. If the AVA hasn't panned out in identifying the token you speak of the forum has a specific link on the main page. I've seen submissions of nearly smooth tokens identified there.
