Quote: m curious, @OtherPosters, why do you saw brown for this coin? It has a full cartwheel luster. The toning means by definition it can't be red, but it certinly has retained 6% of original luster.
color refers to the color of the coin. the amount of luster remaining will however affect the grade the lighting in the photos submitted is washing out the color to some degree which is resulting in some responders to put this in the BN color classification as its difficult to determine if there is more than 10% red remaining on both sides
BN - less than 10 red remaining RB - 10-90% red remaining RD - 90-100% red remaining
This one is MS 66 RB. It has a green cac sticker. Many who have seen it say they would crack it out and try to get a red designation but to me its correctly marked as RB. But really it's a very 'red'/blonde coin. I will post better photos soon when I get them as someone else has it and is photographing it before sending to me. I would like to get this crossed to PCGS eventually with a trueview and hopefully get a 66+ or even 67. Sorry again for the bad images. I'll post the others most likely in the regular section soon.
