I can't tell if it's a 5 or 10 centimes (guessing 10), but either way, I don't see it having any real value in that condition. A pic of the reverse would be nice.

Hello jcoins and

I've cropped and rotated your photo:
I-Have-A-1883-France's-Coin-Does-It-Have-Value..?

If it's 30mm in diameter, it's a 10 centimes. 1883 is a fairly scarce date for this denomination (mintage 700,000), but not worth much in this condition, though we do really need a photo of the reverse. In Britain this is the sort of coin that most dealers would throw in their junk trays, but a French dealer would probably have it in a 2x2 and price it at a couple of euros, as many French numismatists collect this series by date.

The 1883 5 centimes should be 25mm in diameter. It has a mintage of 2,400,000 and again is of little value in this condition.

'Monnaie Magazine' March 2019 catalogue values:
1883 10c: VG €18, F €40
1883 5c: VG €10, F €20
