I'm going to London few weeks later and I'm looking for king Edward I and III groat silver coin , could anyone recommend me ancient coin shop near by London city and Kent ? Thanks.

Hi James,

I would recommend A.H. Baldwins and Sons. They're good for high-quality British coins. Although, they can be quite expensive, you pay for the quality of the coin.

If visiting the British Museum, have a look in CoinCraft opposite the main entrance. Much of what they sell is overpriced (like type sets of average circulated UK bronze pennies from Victoria to Elizabeth II for £7.50), but their medieval and ancient coins are usually priced more in line with other dealers.
