I was thinking about submitting this aluminum token for conservation to NGC. The edges are covered with some kind of sticky goop that fills in the reeded edge in sections and it looks like the obverse/reverse also have some of this extraneous matter as visible to the left of the creature's snout. Any thoughts? Thanks!

Try pure acetone (NOT nail polish remover).
Acetone is very good at removing "sticky goop".
Describe it as if there were no picture.
Picture it as if there were no description.

Agree with the 100% acetone. Other than that, I like it as is.
