Let's hope they are not stolen.

The price on that MS70 is only 18 dollars, who the heck got these graded.

On another note, If you buy stolen property and know it is stolen you can be charged with a crime. If you unknowingly buy stolen property it has to be returned to the original owner. I'm not 100% on how coin grading works, but I dont if they are stolen you could never sell them under the graded ID as the real owner will probably report them as stolen. I wouldn't even try to contact the guy.

I bought about 75 MS/PR 68/9s from a legit dealer for $4 each many years ago and gave them out to kids at shows.

I see stuff all the time like this at bargain bins at coin shows. The seller probably just wants them gone.

I got hold of the guy, Jock Sommers. He's been buying collections around here for 20 yrs. We've been giving a heads-up to each other, when we know coins are hot.I saw where the PF70

sold for about 20. on the bay. Most of the others are MS65, as some come from the bank. Taking a look, the bay hasn't sold a 65.

And what's up with the one that simply says "Brilliant Uncirculated" I didnt know NGC did that.

Some bulk submitters will have it done with the coins that don't meet their minimum grade. Occasionally the submission itself will be to just get that style grading as you can sell it for more than raw coins and the grading fee is lower since they aren't having to specifically grade it
