PCGS - Die cracks are very common on Morgan dollars, but the 1888 O Scarface variety features one of the most dramatic examples, starting from the denticles through the dot between E and Pluribus, and in later examples through Liberty's portrait. Though easy to spot, the variety is not seen very often, as the PCGS Population of 155 would suggest with over 12 million 1888 O Morgan dollars minted.
