New to the forum and a bit of a collector of a few things including coins. My grandfather passed his coin collection over before passing a few years back. I've started organizing/categorizing and building it recently. Namely filling a Washington quarter dansco book that he started.
Either way, I came across these two rolls of 2000-P Sacagawea dollars from the mint. I was wondering what would be best to do with them - leave them in tact? break open and search for a possible uncirculated wounded eagle? Any guidance would be appreciated.
Personally, I don't like storing coins in paper rolls, I just don't trust the paper. I prefer to store the coins in plastic tubes. I know that the mint states that their paper rolls are coin safe, but I prefer plastic. Just saying.
