Would this coin be worth sending in for grading?

These coins are somewhat rare but - being propaganda pieces minted around 1860 by bonapartists and not ordinary circulation coins - they are of interest to specialized collectors rather than collectors in general. A coin in excellent condition would be valued at $200 and upwards.

This coin is definitely worth sending in for grading,
because the potential value justifies the shipping and grading fees.

Much more importantly in this case is
that it will be authenticated.

Provenance (helps with authentication):
From where did it come?

As pointed out by erafjel, the market is limited, and the value is borderline for an investment in grading, unless yours is in exceptional condition.
An UNC specimen recently sold at an Heritage Europe auction for 130 euro (about $150) https://www.coinarchives.com/w/lotv...44749fe02523
