I bought this half roll of 1958's yesterday. I believe I may have several MS 68 candidates.

"Bought' as in face value at a bank? That would indeed be a nice find.

'Bought' as in from a 3rd party seller as a known roll of coins?

Which one was it?

Best of wishes on your search for some high grade coins from the roll. An MS68 example as suggested would be a long shot but fantastic if confirmed.

Thank you nickelsearcher, I bought them from a gentleman that sells coins at a local consignment shop. We were having a conversation a few weeks and I mentioned Indian heads and wheats being my favorite to collect. The next time I walk in to see if he has anything new in his store, he shows me the roll. Also, I bought a roll uncirculated roll of 1963 P Nickels, as well as a roll of 2005 D Nickels.

spruett001 I believe these 4 are the best overall out of all of them. However, they are all spectacular coins.

They have nice eye appeal and nice toning, but I do not think any of them are near MS68. Just wondering what the coins cost you, feel free not to answer that. Here is a link on grading https://www.PCGS.com/Photograde/#/Lincoln/Grades

Just for some perspective, The highest grade at PCGS is 67+ and there's only 3 which is a high four figure coin, only 47 have been graded 67 and several of those are likely crackouts hoping for the next grade. You need a 66+ to be able to turn any profit on grading as a normal submitter for that date
