I have about a dozen bronze Quarter Anna coins of this general type, ranging over about 100 years, from Victoria to George V1, all in uncirculated condition. Most are orange brown, with good luster.

To be honest, I do not consider any of my coins to be rare, despite their high condition.
They were all found in dealers' junk boxes, and bought for no more than about $2 each, over a period 1985-1995.
Haven't seen any in top condition in dealers'junk boxes since 1995.

The Half Anna bronze coin seems to be scarcer, and I do not have one, in any condition.

sel_69l please share the pfotos of your quarter annas - I like to see on it.

Some of quarter annas are common - especially George VI.

But with some Victoria 1/4 annas it is different history. Most of them are scarce in high grade, some are very rare. But yeah I heard that in the past century ;), the prices of BI coins were low.

Palouche, I havent good measure, but diametr of the coin is similar as other Victoria quarter annas - near 25,2 mm.

But this have two leaves under the first and last digit of the date, Calcutta mint have one leave under the middle of the date.

If You have found this coin in high grade, please share photos or even link, I want to see it.
