Collection stolen in the Cedar Rapids Iowa area including the #2 PCGS Jeffereson nickel collection.

Residential Burglary

Detectives with the Cedar Rapids,IA police department are investigating a residential burglary that resulted in the loss of a collection valued at $115,000.
The coins were all graded by PCGS and include the second highest graded Jefferson nickel set from 1938-2020.

I ran a number of the Stolen Coin List certification numbers through the PCGS website and was surprised to find that many of the listed certification numbers were not found.

If the investigating detectives typed in incorrect numbers it makes finding the culprits that much more difficult.
